Instead of scanning a wall of unread mail, you read a short Brief that already made the calls. Every decision is reversible — correct one and zero-mail learns the rule for next time.
Your data
It runs on your server. It stays on your server.
zero-mail is self-hosted software, not a service you hand your mail to. There is no company inbox in the middle.
Stored locally
Your access tokens and the metadata zero-mail keeps live in a database on your own machine. Nothing is uploaded to us — there is no “us.”
Minimal access
It reads and organizes your mail to do the triage. It never sells, shares, or trains on your data — and you can revoke its access in your Google account at any moment.
One AI step, named
To classify a message, its text is sent to Anthropic’s API and returned. That is the only third party in the loop, and it’s spelled out in full in the policy.
