Terms of Service

Zero-Mail is self-hosted, personal software for automated Gmail triage. By authorizing and using it, you agree to these terms.

What Zero-Mail is

Zero-Mail is a personal, self-hosted application that reads a Gmail mailbox, classifies incoming messages, keeps or archives them, and produces a summary “Brief.” It is operated privately by its owner and is not offered as a commercial or multi-tenant service. There is no subscription, no account you sign up for, and no service-level commitment.

Authorized use

• You may authorize Zero-Mail to access a mailbox that you own or are permitted to manage.
• You are responsible for the server it runs on and for the Google account you connect to it.
• You agree not to use it to access mail you have no right to access.

No warranty

Zero-Mail is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. It automatically archives and organizes mail; it may occasionally miscategorize a message. You are responsible for reviewing your Brief and correcting any decision you disagree with. Do not rely on it as the sole safeguard for mail you cannot afford to miss.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss, missed message, mis-archived mail, or other damages arising from the use or inability to use Zero-Mail. Because it is personal software you run yourself, you accept the risks of running it.

Your Google data

Zero-Mail’s access to your Google account is governed by the permissions you grant and by our Privacy Policy. You may revoke that access at any time from your Google Account permissions page, which immediately stops Zero-Mail from acting on your mailbox.

Changes

These terms may change; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
